Pay rent

It will be a big adventage for you to open an account at a swedish bank because this will help you avoid extra fees, get all the features like SWISH and BANKID and more. In Sweden we are very digitzed and there isn’t many stores or shops that handles cash. Not all banks handles cash and it could become troublesome for you. Most bank don´t take walk-ins only bookings.
To apply for an account you will need:
- Passport
- Registration papers that shows how you will study (you can get that from university of Borås)
- Residence permit
- Swedish personal identification number registration from Skatteverket. (only if you have applied for one).

Every month you will get a invoice digital at “my pages” regarding your rent it will contain all the information you will need to pay the rent and if there is some information missing or anything wrong please contact us directly. We have several ways for you to pay it:
If you have a swedish bank account you can either pay it by direct transfer, “autogiro” direct debit that will be an automatic monthly transfer or by “e-faktura” which means you will get your invoice directly in you account to approve or change.
If you pay from outside sweden you need to use this information

What happens if I don´t pay my rent in time?
If you don’t pay the rent in time you will get a automatic text reminder at the 5th-6th of the month. At the 10th you will get a debt collection with a late fee (180 sek) that we will apply on your next rent. If you don’t pay after that, you will get a reminder from our debt partner Collector and we will also send the information to the social services.
When the errand turns into a reminder with our debt partner you will be at risk of losing your apartment or you chance to rent. Which means you will have to move out. If you have a lot of late rent errands it can also be a reason for you to lose your apartment and chance to rent.
